  14. Just true, if new A1200+ should come with 030-40 but no fastmem,
  15. my fastmem equipped 020-14 will be lot faster in most cases!

  17. Don't cry for new chipsets, cry for fastmem on new A1200.

  19. The other thing is that when running asynchronous, like most
  20. turbos, you get suboptimal chipmem acess. somehow this doesn't
  21. disturb in writing to chipmem, most boards still do 7mb/sec,
  22. but AFIAK reading is slower, so performance might drop beyond
  23. a vanilla A1200.

  25. mhm if lots of new A1200 will be sold without fastmem, there
  26. will be no increment of power of the base machine like I hoped.

  28. Already 1mb would give you megaspeedup for most applications.
